Pelmo International Review

There are lots of organisations that say they develop leaders and improve communication. Far fewer actually understand how messy, nuanced, and culturally loaded those things are in real workplaces. That is why Pelmo International caught my attention.

There are lots of organisations that say they develop leaders and improve communication. Far fewer actually understand how messy, nuanced, and culturally loaded those things are in real workplaces. That is why Pelmo International caught my attention.

The reason I like Pelmo is that their work is grounded in performance, not polish. They focus on what people actually need to do better in demanding professional environments - leading teams, influencing across cultures, communicating clearly under pressure, and making good decisions when the stakes are high. This is not "stand up straight and speak louder" training. It is thoughtful, evidence-based development that respects how complex leadership and communication really are.

A big part of that credibility comes from Tanya Davis, whose background and reputation shine through Pelmo's work. What consistently comes across - both in client feedback and in how Pelmo position their solutions - is a strong emphasis on mentorship, intellectual rigour, and genuine care for learner development. One LinkedIn review describes Tanya as "brilliant", generous with her knowledge, and deeply invested in helping people succeed professionally - and that tone feels entirely consistent with the Pelmo approach overall.

What I particularly like is how clearly Pelmo define the problems they solve. They start by diagnosing what is actually going wrong - whether that is problems escalating too quickly to senior leadership, top performers struggling in new management roles, or communication breakdowns that stay hidden until they become crises. Whether it is leadership development, communication performance, or instructional design, the focus is always on measurable improvement - fewer escalations, faster resolutions, stronger leadership performance - not abstract learning objectives. Their communication work, for example, is about clarity, influence, and effectiveness in real professional contexts, often across borders and cultures. That matters enormously for international organisations where misunderstandings are costly and confidence alone is not enough.

Pelmo also stand out for their instructional design capability. Many training providers underestimate how much learning outcomes depend on structure, assessment, and thoughtful programme design. Pelmo do not. Their work reflects a strong understanding of how adults learn, how skills transfer back into the workplace, and how organisations can actually embed capability rather than just run one-off workshops.

In short, Pelmo International are a strong fit for organisations that want serious development with serious results, not superficial training. If you are operating in global, technical, or leadership-heavy environments - and you care about communication and leadership that genuinely improves performance - Pelmo are well worth speaking to.

Is Your Microsoft 365 Investment Delivering What You Expected?

Over 30 Years ago when Suzanne started delivering her Excel Courses using Excel 4.0 users would book a course – often for 2 days and the Course Profile was packed with information. Looking back, I’m still not quite sure how delegates managed to absorb all that information in 2 days, that’s if they did! Certainly in todays world of training Companies want Bite Sized Learning Sessions or Sessions designed around a specific project, business challenge or immediate need.

Technology Shift and AI Adoption in the Workplace

A throwback to the early 1980’s, and manual typewriters were still being used in the Workplace.  Carbon copies and NCR paper evolved before Photocopiers did! The undo button was a bottle of Tippex!  Now in 2026 we have fast processors in our computers, we have thousands of different software packages available to us and dependant on when the company was formed, many thousands of documents because users are not sure about keep, archive or delete!

AI will not replace great salespeople. It will expose generic sales training. title

Most sales training is built on the assumption that if everyone follows the same process, uses the same script and applies the same techniques, results will improve. Despite billions spent globally on sales enablement, many organisations still struggle with inconsistent performance, low conversion rates, poor prospecting discipline, weak client engagement and sales teams that fail to sustain momentum.
