I am a practising Ontological Coach with current clients including C-suite and emerging leaders, start-up founders, hospital medical & administrative teams, and a World Rugby referee. I help them enhance self-awareness and gain deeper insights into themselves and their environments. In so doing, they are able to clarify what is truly at stake and unlock new possibilities for moving forward. With nearly three decades in financial services, spanning wealth management servicing, private fund administration, securities services, institutional broking, and wealth/fintech, my roles as CEO, COO, Independent Non-Executive Director and other board-level positions, have afforded me a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing today’s C-suite leaders. I have a track record in growing businesses in highly-regulated organisations and optimising business expansion strategies aligned to robust governance frameworks. I have extensive experience interacting with regulators globally both as a leader of regulated businesses as well as exploring business development opportunities in new markets. Combining this with my work as an Ontological Coach, I empower executives to navigate complexity, sharpen their strategic thinking, and drive sustainable success. I bring an international perspective having lived and worked in Singapore (2000-23), Hong Kong (1998-2000), India (1995-98) and the UK (1986-95) with extensive travel across APAC and the US. I am a strong advocate for a diverse and inclusive culture, firmly believing this drives long-term, sustainable and responsible growth. In my spare time, I am a L2 World Rugby referee with the LSRFUR and relax by cooking, especially “Nyonya / Peranakan” dishes of my birthplace, Penang, Malaysia.
