Formally trained as a psychologist and skilled instructor of higher education, Kimberly has expertise and specialty training in health psychology, diversity and equity promotion, mentorship, and advocacy—with a focus on underserved populations. Kimberly holds a PhD in Psychology from Tennessee State University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Argosy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kennesaw State University. In addition, she holds a Certificate from Northwestern University in Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Certificate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from University of Southern Florida. Kimberly brings an engaging, supportive, and practical context to her training workshops. Supporting her passion for training, education, and advocacy, she provides educational training, group facilitation, and consultation in the areas of diversity, culturally competent work environments, interpersonal effectiveness, team building, goal setting, and stress management. She is certified as a facilitator of Professional Learning Communities and Adult Learning.
